Emaar hosts Best Garden competition
Dubai

The community management department of Emaar Properties hosted its third consecutive Best Garden competition held exclusively for residents of Emaar communities.

The prize winners were feted at a ceremony held at The Montgomerie, Club, Dubai.

Desert group presented cash vouchers worth Dh3,000 ($816) to the first three winners in four categories - Best Large Garden, Best Small Garden, Best Balcony/Terrace and Best Swimming Pool.

Residents from Emaar’s master-planned communities including Arabian Ranches, Dubai Marina Emirates Hills, The Greens, The Springs, The Meadows and The Views took part in the competition, which fetched a record number of 150 entries this year. To participate in the competition, residents only had to send in photographs of their gardens.

The most number of entries came in for Best Large Garden. A special prize was given for the Best Individual Effort too.

“Emaar is committed to hosting events that bring together our communities. The Best Garden competition not only promotes community spirit but also encourages residents to add to the aesthetic appeal of their homes. The effort that goes into developing home gardens is impressive as the quality of entries this year proves,” said executive director, asset management, Emaar Properties, Ahmad Al Falasi.

The first three winners of the competition were:

Best Large Garden:  Towkir Fatima Jafri (Emirates Hills); Zaheeruddin Babar (The Meadows) and Francis Gambin (The Meadows).

Best Small Garden: Miles Aarons (Arabian Ranches); Shidrukh Rouhani (The Springs) and Nawal Salim Basmaih (The Meadows); Special prize for Carole Binbrek (Arabian Ranches).

Best Balcony/Terrace: Shahzad Ahmed (The Greens) and Anna Rozynska (The Greens).
