Dubai Islamic Insurance and Re-insurance Company (Aman) achieved a profit of Dh6.05 million ($1.64m) for the first quarter of 2008.
This was a 33.7 per cent increase compared to last year first quarter profit which was Dh4.52 million, the company said in a statement.
Aman reported a total revenue of Dh78.68 million, and the share profit increased from 0.23pc in 2007 to 0.30pc, an increase of 33.7pc, it added.
The balance sheet of the company showed assets reached Dh553.25 million. – TradeArabia News Service
