Property shares in the United Arab Emirates extended their declines for a second day, taking cue from declining global markets.

Emaar Properties fell 0.67 percent, Sorouh Real Estate 1.48 percent and Aldar Properties 1.64 percent.

Dubai's main index,  the worst performer in the Gulf region, falls 0.21 percent to 4,045 points and Abu Dhabi's benchmark declined 0.15 percent to 3,894 points.

In Oman, Bank Muscat lost 0.95 percent, leading the benchmark 0.19 percent lower to 8,601 points. - Reuters
