Foreigners buy $709.m shares on DFM

Dubai Financial Market said the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (September 21 to 25) reached Dh2.606 billion ($709.4 million) comprising 35.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh2.628 billion comprising 36.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh22 million during the same period, as aggregate sell.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh1.900 billion comprising 26.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh2.053 billion which constitutes 28.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
