RSS for cooling conference

Rental Solutions & Services (RSS), a global provider of temporary power and cooling services, will participate at the Middle East District Cooling Conference 2008 (MEED).

The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza, Dubai Festival City, on May 26 and 27, 2008.

MEED will host a number of powerhouse speakers in the industry of district cooling.

Rental Solutions and Services will be the lead exhibitor in the event along with several companies in district cooling, chilling, HVAC, climate control and refrigeration, said an official spokesman.

The organisers have invited the industry leaders in district cooling as well as key customers such as Nasri Chami, CEO of Dalkia Bahrain; Adib Moubadder, acting GM of Emicool; Mario Seveviratne, founder and secretary to the board of Emirates Green Building Council; Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO Empower; Adil Toubia, CEO GCC Energy Fund; Bob Bryniak, CEO of Folden Sands Management Consulting; Luke Nickeman, Energy Analyst of International Energy Agency; Walid Madwar, Business Development Manager of Metito; Keith Levers, CEO of Palm District Cooling UAE; Fayad Al Khatib, general manager of Qatar Cool; Abdulhamid Al Mansour, CEO of Saudi Tabreed KSA; Thomas Waterhouse, deputy general manager - Head of Energy & Natural Resources, Project Finance of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Ltd (SMBCE); Karl E. Marietta, deputy CEO of Tabreed; Craig Marsh, senior manager of ADCB Macquarie  Corporate Finance; Tawfiq Abu Soud, corporate services director of Drake & Scull International; top management of Dubai Holdings; top representative from Dubai Waterfront; Riad Bsaibes, CEO of Amana Group; top management of TAS Middle East; and Michael Thompson, director of environmental affairs of Trane.
