UP's 80-storey tower tops out this month
Dubai

Union Properties (UP), one of the leading property developers in the UAE, said its 80-storey multi-purpose tower 'Index' is set to reach a new milestone by topping out before the end of this month.

Developed by UP, Index is a creation of the reputed award-winning architects Foster and Partners.

A 2008 recipient of the 'Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award for Real Estate Development,' UP is showcasing its current developments Index, Limestone and its signature ‘MotorCity’ at Cityscape Dubai.

The company has also announced new payment terms for its developments Limestone House and Index.

“Construction work is almost at an end on what will be one of the first of a new era of ‘intelligent buildings’ destined to be the skyscrapers of the future,” said Simon E. Azzam, chief executive officer, UP.

"Index is set to be one of Dubai’s future landmarks, with state-of-the-art offices for multinational corporations and minimalist designed luxury apartments at a prime location within the rapidly developing Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)."

"In addition to the release of new payment terms for potential buyers, we are also pleased to announce that the building will top out this month, heading towards a speedy, early 2009 completion," he noted.

Index elegantly combines 25 floors of office space, 40 floors for apartments, in addition to 7 dedicated for penthouses and 3 levels for exclusive retails outlets. In addition to its prime location, the Index building is simplicity personified.-TradeArabia News Service
