ADTC, Turret to jointly develop Tawdheef
Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council (ADTC) and Turret Middle East has announced plans to jointly work towards future development of Tawdheef, the ongoing recruitment show in Abu Dhabi.

With over 65 exhibiting companies and 20,000 expected visitors, Tawdheef represents the single largest venue for private sector employers in Abu Dhabi to engage with Emirati jobseekers.

Together, the two parties will work to ensure Tawdheef ’s position as Abu Dhabi’s leading recruitment event is maintained and further developed in the future, ADTC said in a statement.

The MoU represents a further commitment from the government of Abu Dhabi to ensuring a wide range of employment opportunities exist to enable aspiring Emirati jobseekers to pursue their careers and continue to develop their skills as individuals and collectively, as a dynamic workforce.

Abdullah Al Darmaki, general manager of ADTC, said, “Tawdheef champions the Abu Dhabi government’s Emiratisation policies by facilitating recruitment between the region’s leading private sector employers and Emiratis.

'By incorporating our strategic direction and experience into the development of Tawdheef, we can help ensure that it continues to support the development of Abu Dhabi’s economy and harbours the strengths and skills represented by the Emirati workforce,' he observed.

Richard Hease, chairman of Turret Middle East, said the partnership with ADTC is a major step in the continued successful development of Tawdheef.

'Together, we will create a vibrant environment where leading employers can meet thousands of potential candidates to discuss the key issues of recruitment, Emiratisation and career development and where new and innovative approaches to marrying employers and jobseekers in the region are found,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
