The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to open a state-of-the-art medical testing facility within its premises for processing immigration formalities for employees in its district.
Based at 'The Gate' building, the medical centre will enable convenient medical check-ups for speedy processing of visas and medical cards.
Marwan Lootah, executive director of corporate affairs at the DIFC said: “Our partnership with the Dubai Health Authority will help us fulfil the growing requirements of employees at the centre."
"As one of the world’s leading financial hubs, the DIFC has entered into this agreement with the aim of providing services of the highest international standards." he noted.
The medical centre is yet another initiative that speeds up the process of joining the DIFC community and reaffirms DIFC’s dedication to providing a comfortable working environment.”
Khalid Al Sheikh, DHA assistant director general expressed delight at establishing a medical facility that supports the DIFC’s commitment to the welfare of employees at the financial centre.
"By offering easy access to the best testing services, the DIFC Medical Centre ensures that those seeking assistance have a conveniently located, fully-equipped facility to service their needs,” he added.
The medical centre located at the DIFC District will be open daily from 8am to 4pm.-TradeArabia News Service
