SAP backs IT decisions
Manama

Bahrain-based organisations are increasingly taking technology-related decisions at executive levels, a new dynamic seen as critical to business success for the Gulf state’s best run enterprises of all sizes, according to industry experts.

The competitive advantage realised through the deployment of advanced technology is widely viewed as the difference between succeeding and failing in the current business environment, where operational costs have increased and project timelines have accelerated rapidly over the last 12 months.

“Experienced government officials and business executives are often the first to realise that globally-proven technologies can apply sustainable solutions to ongoing operational challenges,” said chief operating officer, SAP Middle East and Africa, Kevin Scott.

“Bahrain, with its industry leadership, is replete with examples of competitive advantage bourn of leading-edge technology.”

SAP has despatched regional executives to meet with senior public and private sector representatives to discuss how SAP technology can increase workflow efficiency, improve project management, optimize procurement, maximize regulatory compliance, and control costs. – TradeArabia News Service
