New visa centre for France, Germany, Italy
Dubai

The Consulate General of France in Dubai, in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Germany and the Consular agency of Italy, has opened a new visa application centre.

VFS Global, a specialist partner for diplomatic missions worldwide and part of the Zurich based Kuoni Travel Group, will provide support services for those requiring visas to travel to France and other Schengen countries, a statement said.

“This new initiative will enable a faster and more efficient application process with trained professionals on hand to help with applications and provide advice about the rules and requirements for obtaining visas,” explained Michelle Carret-Giraud from the Consulate General of France in Dubai.

The visa application centre at Jumeirah Palms Residence, next to the Capitol Hotel on Al Mina Road in Al Hudaiba Dubai, will be open from Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, with no appointment required.

The website www.vfsglobal-fr-ae.com, containing downloadable application forms, document tracking and other information about the application process, has been launched recently and a helpline has also been established. Enquiries can be made by calling 04345 5461, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
