Bahrain's MPs to propose new measures

Many measures are to be proposed by MPs to safeguard the interests of bank customers in the face of a major global financial crisis.

MP Dr Jassim Hussain told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej on Monday that legislators were planning to introduce several new laws in this regard during the upcoming parliament session. The report also appeared in our other sister publication, the Gulf Daily News.

MP Abdulrahman Bumajid has called for precautionary measures in view of the new government budget, he said.
