Samaco, Saudi Arabia’s premier distributor of Volkswagen cars, achieved record levels in both sales and after-sales service during 2007 and has emerged as the leading VW distributor in the Middle East.

The German car-maker honoured Samaco, the exclusive distributor for Volkswagen cars in Saudi Arabia. General Manager, Samaco, Mustafa Sabra, was felicitated with a golden pin and merit certificate during his visit to the VW regional office.

The recognition came after a high level delegation headed by regional director, after-sales Service, Volkswagen, Thomas Vairbr visited KSA. The delegation also included international after-sales service director, Alexander Prins, observer, after-sales service Nonobirt Himested and administrative coach, Volkswagen, Middle East, Andrew Doyle.

“This is clearly the result of Samaco’s ongoing endeavors to raise both the VW brand profile as well as customer satisfaction levels across our operations in KSA,” said Sabra.

“During the last 10 years, we have steadily worked towards realising our vision to be the best European automobile distributor in the Kingdom - this award is recognition of the fact that Samaco’s efforts have borne fruit.”

Samaco was recognised by Volkswagen for highest levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction amongst all VW distributors across the Middle East.

The company was also the top-performer in the used cars buy-back programme.
