Meraas Holding has been launched to create integrated master-planned communities that embody global standards of sustainability and quality.

Meraas is a Dubai-based real estate investment company with operations and assets in the UAE and abroad.

Through a focus on comprehensive urban planning, Meraas Holding will ensure that it enriches the lives of all those who work, live and play in its developments and investment properties, said a company statement.

The company will complement the other players in the dynamic UAE real estate market, while also setting new standards of quality, reliability and innovation, it said.

He said the company aims to invest in sustainable development and for implementation of cutting-edge energy conservation and ‘green’ building design.

Meraas Holding will execute its mission through a number of subsidiaries that encompass a wide range of specialisations within the field of real estate.

These include Meraas Development, a Dubai-based master planner and developer that enriches lives and contributes to making Dubai a world-class city through integrated urban planning and infrastructure development.

Other subsidiaries to be launched include Meraas Capital, a real estate-focused private equity firm; Meraas Estate Management, a real estate sales and marketing company; Meraas Malls & Hospitality and Meraas Healthcare & Education.

While Meraas Holding is Dubai based, it is not Dubai focused and expects its subsidiaries to develop activities and operations across the UAE, as well as internationally, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
