Samsung has unveiled two new mobile phones, i780 and G810, as part of its part of its collection for August.
“The new i780 is geared up on business efficiency and extensive multimedia capabilities to provide the consumer with a more personal experience. It's a hugely significant addition to our growing portfolio of executive models and further enhances our position as a leading player in the hugely popular business mobile phone market,” Sandeep Saihgal, general manager of mobile phones at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said.
“Samsung G810 encompasses all the best features in one device. The 3G Smartphone comes with GPS navigation and high quality imaging features. As multi-mega pixel camera phones become more and more popular, the needs of actual digital imaging features grow together. Samsung’s G810 will satisfy the unmet needs in the multimedia category.”
Samsung i780 is a super slim compact bar type mobile, which measures 12.9mm and comes with a 2.5” TFT touch screen with a built in pen and a resolution of 320x320 pixels displaying 65K colours.
Supporting Windows Mobile 6.0, Samsung i780 provides functional and practical features. Users can operate MS Office programmes such as Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Intuitive User Interface and the optical joystick, which manoeuvres 360 degrees for free-flowing movement, provide direct access to the menu and easy navigation.
The full-QWERTY Pocket PC phone is quad band phone which operates HSDPA 3.6 Mbps technology which allows the user to enjoy a high download speed. The new i780 comes with built-in GPS navigation system which offers up-to-date navigation solutions on the go.
It also comes with a built in 2 mega pixel camera for still photography and video capture as well as a second VGA camera for convenient video conferencing. Samsung i780 is equipped with an integrated multi-format media player which allows seamless playback of various digital media. The phone is embedded with 2G internal memory and a 150MB MicroSD slot.
Samsung G810 is a 3G Smartphone which comes with GPS navigation and high quality imaging features. The phone, measuring 17.9mm thin and weighing 139.2gm, comes with a 2.6” TFT screen and a resolution of 240x320 pixels, which is ideal for imaging and web surfing.
It is equipped with a built in 5 mega pixel camera feature to provide the user with high quality imaging features which comes with easy to use controls. The camera has a 3x optical zoom for those closer shots and an auto focus feature to ensure a clear shot is captured.
The new G810 works on a Symbian operating system and comes with a GPS receiver complete with navigation software which provides the user with step by step directions to new and existing locations. The G810 supports a Google search as well as Google maps and Google mail for a fully mobile Internet experience.
The built in 3.6Mbps HSDPA technology provides broadband speed Internet connectivity, high-speed file transfer and 3G multi-tasking capabilities. The G810 comes with 130 megabytes of internal memory and with a memory card slot, which allows the user to insert a MicroSD memory card to suit the user's memory requirements. – Trade Arabia News Service
