MasterCard names country manager for Egypt
Cairo

MasterCard has appointed Magdy Hassan as country manager for Egypt.

Hassan has worked for MasterCard since 2003 and during this time focused on developing a number of MasterCard products suited to the Egyptian market.

“The combination of Hassan’s extensive contacts in Egypt, his in-depth knowledge of the local market and his expertise in the payments industry gained in Egypt as well as internationally, meant he was a natural choice for the position,” said Denzil Lawson, general manager, Middle East and Levant, MasterCard Worldwide.

Hassan holds a diploma in Computer Science from Ain Shams University and a Bachelors of Commerce from Cairo University.-TradeArabia News Service
