Kamco to bid for BKIC stake

Kipco Asset Management (Kamco), a subsidiary of Kuwait Projects Company (Kipco) will compete for a 5.8 percent stake in Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC), the Kuwait bourse said on Tuesday.
Bahrain National Holding Company had agreed to buy the stake from Al Ahleia Insurance Company at 390 fils per share for nearly 1.4 million dinars ($4.88 million) at an auction on Tuesday, the exchange said earlier on its website
There are 1,000 fils to the dinar. Kamco did not say why it wanted to buy the stake. - Reuters
