Commercial Bank International (CBI) has opened a gateway to aspiring UAE nationals for promising career opportunities in the banking industry.

It is part of CBI’s drive for Emiratisation within its staff structure.

The move came even as the bank participated in the Careers Day, organised by Higher Colleges of Technology-Dubai Men’s College at the Academic City, Dubai.

The bank is offering a variety of training and career development programmes for UAE nationals, whose inherent strengths and professional potential for successful careers in the banking industry remain underutilised. 

Through participating in the event, CBI has offered a new occupational possibility to the UAE nationals to step into the banking industry, fostering their future via sponsoring local students to train and develop, said an official spokesman.

This effort at instilling nationals into the bank’s workforce is in line with the bank’s vision, which puts a premium on providing promising career opportunities for suitable national candidates among its ranks.

“The bank has participated in many career fairs in the past held throughout the UAE and has consistently provided internship and work placement programs for students, especially national students. Our team was available on stand to provide and discuss with aspiring students on the wide variety of career opportunities and client services available at CBI,” said training and development Manager, CBI, Mohammed Omar Mutawa.

Successfully launched, the training and development department at CBI is well structured for recruitment, training, development and placement of UAE nationals in running highly potential businesses.
