Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Rahul Chandnani to handle the global investment management company's business tailored for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in the Gulf region.

Chandnani, who is based in the Dubai office of Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited as regional sales manager, will develop distribution channels of investment products and solutions for NRI customers. 

"The NRI community forms the largest expatriate group in the Gulf region — many of whom are affluent investors," said Dhiraj Rai, sales director at the company's office in Dubai.
