The Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIsB) announced that Jaffer Saleem Badwan has become a member of the bank's executive management team.

He will hold the position of general manager for investment and treasury.

With banking experience of nearly 27 years, Badwan held several management and executive positions in various financial institutions and banks outside Bahrain, including Abu Dhabi National Bank, UAE Central Bank and Kuwait Investment Company.

"We are delighted to have Jaffer joining BIsB family. A well-known banker, he will be an addition to our investment and treasury services," BIsB chief executive Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed said.-TradeArabia News Service
