Arab National Bank Q2 profit up 3.7pc

Arab National Bank, Saudi Arabia's sixth-largest lender by market value, said on Saturday second-quarter profit rose 3.7 per cent to SR752 million ($200.5 million), missing analysts forecasts.
Analysts forecasts for second-quarter profit ranged from SR755 million to SR780 million, according to a Reuters survey last month.
Earnings per share for the first six months were 2.19 riyals, compared with 2.1 riyals at the end of June last year, Arab National said in a statement on the stock market Web site.
Jordan's Arab Bank holds a 40 per cent stake in Arab National.-Reuters
