TMT conference to focus on wireless technologies

The TMT Finance and Investment conference will explore wireless and other technologies as well as strategies for expansion, sources revealed today (March 5).
The TMT Finance and Investment Middle East conference entitled ‘Defining the future of telecom in the Middle East’ will take place in Doha at the Sharq Resort Hotel on March 18 and 19.
Qualcomm, a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies products and services, has been announced as the signature sponsor of the seminar.

The event will feature a keynote address by patron Qatar Telecom’s (Qtel) chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, and a leadership panel chaired by Ghassan Hasbani, vice president, Booz & Co, which includes CEOs from the leading telecom operators from the region.
The executives will discuss the changing structure of the telecom industry and their strategies for regional and global expansion in emerging and developed markets.
