Al-Futtaim insurance unit rebranded Orient

Arab Orient Insurance Company, a member of Al-Futtaim group, has rebranded its corporate identity to Orient. The move, the company said, was aimed at keeping pace with modernisation trends and maintaining its market leading position.

Orient offers a full range of insurance services including: property, marine, motor, engineering, life – group and individual, medical – group and individual, energy – onshore and offshore risks among others.

Omer Elamin, senior managing director of Orient, said the rebranding exercise represents a significant milestone in the company's 28-year old history.

"Becoming Orient represents so much more than a change in a brand. The new identity aims to characterise the company’s dynamic path and reflects its market leading position," he observed.

“This new look represents a burst of forward momentum from our team of experts as we look to leverage Orient’s core competencies and provide a greater range of products and services to customers. We look forward to working with our current and new customers under the new brand and further develop our scale within the marketplace,” he added.

Orient’s core strengths lie in its strong financial base, highly qualified and customer friendly workforce, in-depth knowledge of the local insurance market and a diversified product range complimented by a strong portfolio of clients, said Elamin.

The company has also the highest rating of a national Insurance company A- by S&P, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
