Egypt 182-day T-bills yield at 10.499pc

The average yield on Egyptian 182-day Treasury bills steady at 10.499 per cent at an auction on Sunday compared with 10.497 per cent at last week's auction.

The central bank accepted bids worth EGP2.5 billion ($439 million), the same amount it was seeking.

It accepted bids at rates between 10.42 and 10.54 per cent versus a range of 10.451 to 10.52 per cent at the previous auction. The bills are for issue on July 13 and mature on January 11, 2011.-Reuters
