InfoFort offers solutions for finance sector
Dubai, July 19, 2011
InfoFort, an Aramex company, offers a suite of solutions dedicated to the financial services industry in the Middle East and Africa.
The company recently showcased its market-leading portfolio of solutions at Meftec 2011, Abu Dhabi, the premier emerging markets financial technology event.
The solutions included bespoke files for mandates and Credit Card data, and a tailored archiving system for daily teller transactions.
“The issue of data security is now in sharp focus for the region’s banks,” said Abed Shaheen, managing director of InfoFort. “For a number of years, we have been working closely with many of the UAE’s banks to understand their specific records and information management needs. This breadth of experience has enabled us to develop a suite of solutions that solve a primary concern for banks – the integrity of customer data.”
During the exhibition, InfoFort demonstrated how banks in the region are mitigating their risks by outsourcing the full information life cycle, ranging from physical records management to electronic records management (scanning, conversion, capture, enrichment, data mining, and document/records/workflow management systems), media/tape vaulting and rotation to secure data destruction.
“The management of information is absolutely central to a bank’s ability to do business. Financial services companies should look at their processes to ensure they have the business continuity plans in place to protect customer data. Banks that are able to integrate safe and secure information and records management into their operations have a major competitive advantage,” said Shaheen. -TradeArabia News Service
