Ahli United launches new loan scheme

Bahrain-based Ahli United Bank (AUB) has announced a new loan offer for Ramadan, with  new loans at the lowest rate of 4.99 per cent with APR of 5.99 per cent with reduced fees and insurance charges.

"This special Ramadan offer comes at a very opportune time and is in line with government directions to support the community, people and improve the economy. The offer is not limited to AUB clients but is open to all nationals in Bahrain,” said Abdulla Al Raeesi, AUB deputy group chief executing officer for retail banking.

In addition to the low interest rate, customers can also benefit from full interest waiver for the first three months and deferral of the first three installments in lieu of Eid and back-to-school expenses.

Customers can benefit from the AUB offer by availing of the biggest loan amounts and pay significantly lower starting installments, thereby improving their cash flow situation and creating room for monthly savings.

As one of the leading regional banks based in Bahrain, AUB ranks among the foremost providers of value added banking services to its clients and this unique offer is yet another illustration of AUB's commitment.

Under this offer, customers can avail of loan amounts up to 40 times salary with starting installments of BD12.5 ($33.15) per BD1,000 ($2,652) loan per month.

AUB offers conventional loans as well Sharia-compliant financing through the dedicated Al Hilal Islamic Banking branches. This offer is available at both conventional and Islamic branches of AUB.
