The Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) joined hands with Deloitte & Touche Middle East to host a workshop on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the Kingdom.

The workshop, held at Hotel Diva, Juffair was attended by more than 200 members and guests.

Speaking at the seminar, BCICAI chairman T D Balraj said, 'We are thankful to Deloitte for this informative seminar by providing us an opportunity to keep pace with rapid changes in IFRS. It will surely equip us better to deal with the technical issues affecting our day-to-day work.'

Affiliated to the Bahrain Accountants Association, BCICAI is the largest organised professional body of Indians in Bahrain and has been in existence for more than 12 years.-TradeArabia News Service
