NBB expands branch network

Manama, May 12, 2013

National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has opened its 26th branch in the kingdom.

The new branch at Bukowarah in Riffa area further reinforces NBB's position as the bank with the largest branch network in Bahrain, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

"The opening of this new NBB branch marks an important chapter in the continuing progress of the bank as a leading provider of banking services in the kingdom," said chief executive Abdul Razak Al Qassim.

"As the oldest local bank, this opening reiterates our strong commitment to customers in ensuring that they have a more convenient and pleasurable banking experience with NBB.

"NBB has always endeavoured to take banking services to where our customers are located," he said.

"This new branch at Bukowarah is one more step in that direction and is an integral part of our strategy which aims to increase the bank's footprint."

Al Qassim said NBB's policy has always been based on the commitment to provide the best and most convenient banking services and facilities all over the kingdom.

"Consequently, the bank has undertaken many changes and improvements in its premises and branches over the past few years.

"The new NBB branch at Bukowarah will serve a wider segment of our customers and provide them with not only the best products and services but would also give them the benefit of conducting their banking transactions in the comfort of a contemporary and technologically advanced environment."-TradeArabia News Service
