Manama, May 21, 2013
Bahrain Kuwait Insurance (BKIC), part of the Gulf Insurance Group, has decided to adopt a common logo for all the subsidiary companies so as to reflect a unified brand identity across the group companies.
The logo selected for the group, a sea shell, represents strength and stability, signifying the safety and security provided by the company to the clientele all over the region, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication, citing a senior official.
"As a nation proud of its traditions, we consider the shell as part of our culture," said BKIC chief executive Ebrahim Al Rayes.
"The new logo reflects the timeless values that we have derived from the glorious past. The design displays a unique blend of tradition and modernity and speaks for our ability to reinvent ourselves as per the demands of the time," he stated.
"The shining new logo, in three tastefully selected colours, depicts our shared vision of a bright future to be the most-admired insurance brand in the Mena region," Al Rayes added.
BKIC is a Bahraini public company established in 1975 with equal shareholding from Bahrain and Kuwait. The company transacts business in Bahrain and Kuwait and its shares are listed on both stock exchanges.
