Bahrain’s GDP expands 5.3pc in Q2

Bahrain's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 5.3 per cent at constant prices and 8.5 per cent at current prices, according to a national accounts report for the second quarter of this year.

The oil industry contributed 61.2 per cent, while the other sectors contributed the rest, Central Informatics Organisation president Dr Mohammed Al Amer was quoted as saying by Akhbar Al Khaleej, our sister publication. – TradeArabia News Service
