Dubai, February 3, 2014

Standard Chartered has appointed Mohsin Nathani as the new chief executive officer for its business in the UAE.

Nathani succeeds Jonathan Morris, who had resigned from the bank to pursue other career opportunities, said a statement.

Christos Papadopoulos, CEO for Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, said: “Standard Chartered has been operating in the UAE, one of our most strategic markets globally, since 1958. We are well positioned to provide our customers and clients with superior financial services, products and solutions.

“Mohsin’s leadership and international experience will further strengthen and deepen our client and customer relationships in the UAE and he will play a key role in achieving our aspirations in the country. I’d like to thank Jonathan for his support in building our business in the UAE and in Bahrain and wish him the best for the future.” - TradeArabia News Service
