Citi celebrates two Bahrain milestones

Citi Bahrain celebrated 45 years of presence and 25 years of consumer banking operations in the kingdom recently.

The event, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, was hosted by James Cowles, Citi’s chief executive officer for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), as well as Atiq Ur-Rehman, Citi’s chief executive officer for the Middle East Division and Mazin Manna, CEO of Citi Bahrain.

Manna said: “Citi Bahrain has been a partner in the kingdom’s progress for over four decades, and intends to enhance its value-added services to clients and investors, as well as expand its foothold in Bahrain. Today’s celebration is a salute to our clients for their contiuous support and loyalty, and a reiteration of  our commitment to the local market.”

Citi has been present in Bahrain since 1969. The bank’s Institutional capabilities include Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, Transactions Services and Islamic Banking, while its Consumer Banking arm, Citibank, has been offering a range of Wealth Management and Consumer Credit services since its launch in 1989. – TradeArabia News Service
