Al Baraka wins top Euromoney honour

Al Baraka Islamic Bank has won the "Best Islamic Bank in Bahrain for 2014" award from the Euromoney magazine for the second time in row.

The bank was chosen for this prestigious award after reviewing its performance and efficiency in dealing with the unstable operating conditions and variables witnessed in 2013 and its success to accommodate them, thanks to a strategy of innovation and expansion it follows to achieve the good operating results despite extraordinary challenges on the regional and international arenas, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Al Baraka Islamic Bank chief executive Mohamed Isa Al Mutaweh said this award represents the best embodiment of the bank's success in the application of expansion strategies in local and regional markets, expanding branch network, launching Sharia-compliant innovative products, which reflect positively and increasingly on its share and place in the market.-TradeArabia News Service
