Bahrain to host key finance seminar
Manama, February 26, 2014
Bahrain is to host the third of a series of planned regional seminars targeting professionals based in the Middle East who work in the financial industry.
Organised by CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, together with CFA Society Bahrain, each event will include presentations from regional and international speakers who will discuss a range of topical trends and issues, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
Presenters will share their insight on the ongoing challenges the industry faces in the areas of shareholder protection and disclosure at the event to be held on Monday at the Capital Club in Bahrain Financial Harbour.
The CFA Institute Middle East seminars are also open to the public. Subsequent events will also be held in the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar, said the report.
Speaking ahead of the event, CFA Society Bahrain president Lamees Al Baharna said the seminar reflects its ongoing commitment to be involved in every aspect that interests the investment community.
"This is an annual event in the society's calendar which is a terrific opportunity for anyone who is interested in the views of some of the finest minds together as part of our ongoing commitment to develop thought leadership in the region," she added.-TradeArabia News Service
