ADIB opens new branch in Dubai

Abu Dhabi, June 24, 2014

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has opened its 79th branch in the UAE, at Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai.
The new branch brings the total number of ADIB’s branches in Dubai to 16; five of which are located in malls, said a statement.
It will provide ADIB’s full range of retail and commercial services to customers and further strengthens the bank’s position as one of the largest growing retail banks in the UAE.
The bank also provides its customers with easy access to their accounts 24 hours a day through online banking, phone banking and mobile apps, which allow customers to check their account balances, make payments locally and internationally and many other e-services.
Philip King, UAE head of retail banking for ADIB, said: “Despite increasing use of our online channels, we continue to see high demand from customers for services from our branches, and this is our response to that demand.
“It reflects ADIB’s commitment to improving the client experience and making its services as accessible as possible. We will keep looking for new ways to ensure we are providing our customers with the best services.”
The bank currently has the third largest retail network in the UAE in terms of branches and with more than 600 ATMs, added the statement. - TradeArabia News Service
