The updated figures released by the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman) found that Bahrainis enjoy almost double the world average per capita which stands at $13,000, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Bahrainis’ average per capita income has been growing steadily over the past few years, jumping from $18,700 in 2009 to $19,560 in 2012.
