Idris .... privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead Adnic.

Adnic appoints new CEO

ABU DHABI, December 15, 2014

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (Adnic), one of the region’s leading providers of insurance solutions for individuals and corporates, has appointed Ahmad Idris as the chief executive officer.

Idris replaces outgoing CEO Walid Sidani. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading, developing and executing the company’s strategies, said a company statement.

Khalifa Mohamed Al-Kindi, Adnic’s chairman, said: “He has a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, as well as proven leadership and management abilities. He also knows the company well, having spent more than 20 years in the company previously.”

“Idris is known for his professionalism and commitment to quality. His proven leadership abilities have made him a veteran in developing and motivating others to achieve targets and we are pleased to welcome him back,” he added.

On his new role, Idris said: "I am privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead Adnic.”
