Bahrain forum on family business issues

MANAMA, April 5, 2015

The issues facing Bahrain's family businesses and what needs to be done to make their model more robust will be discussed at a key seminar this evening (April 5).

Organised by Khalid Kanoo-led Bahrain Family Business Association, the seminar will be conducted by EY Family Business Centre of Excellence executive director and leader Loutfi Echhade, reported the Gulf  Daily News, our sister publication

Echhade's experience includes due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, valuations, company reorganisation and restructuring and advising on governance for a number of multinational family-owned businesses.

He has led courses on various topics, including internal audit, risk management, fraudulent reporting and family and corporate governance. A member of the Family Firm Institute in the US and the Family Business Forum in the Middle East, Echhade has more than 35 years of experience in serving companies in the region.

Kanoo has invited family business owners to attend the event being held from 8pm onwards at The K Hotel, Juffair. – TradeArabia News Service
