Janahi receives the award from Qambar

BisB named ‘best bank’ in Mena region

MANAMA, June 8, 2015

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has won the ‘Best Bank Award’ in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) in straight through processing.

The award is in recognition of its excellence and high efficiency, with a 94.20 per cent customer satisfaction, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The bank was nominated by Standard Chartered Bank.

BisB acting chief executive Mohammed Ahmed Janahi received the trophy and a certificate from Standard Chartered Bank banking institutions of banking services manager Hassan Qambar.

Janahi praised the efforts made by the bank's employees, particularly in central operations, for this achievement.

Qambar congratulated BisB, welcoming all aspects of co-operation between BisB and Standard Chartered Bank and hailing successful strategic partnership. - TradeArabia News Service
