RSA Bahrain shifts to new office in Seef

MANAMA, April 27, 2016

RSA, a leading provider of insurance services in the region, has shifted its Bahrain office to a new location in Al Seef District, a business hub that hosts most of RSA’s customers and partners.

The insurer inaugurated the new premises today in the presence of partners and brokers hosted by Chris Dooley, CEO, UAE and MD – Bahrain at RSA, and Adrian Pinto, country manager at RSA Bahrain.

The new office space covers an area of approximately 4,800 sq ft and is located on the second floor of the Impact House building.

RSA Bahrain maintains a long-standing presence spanning 14 years and has emerged as a key player on the kingdom’s insurance market. As a result, the relocation was a strategic move stemming from the insurer’s “customer obsession” to bring its business to closer proximity to its valued customer base and accommodate its future growth ambitions, said a statement.

Dooley said: “Following a period of global economic slowdown and in the midst of a challenging market environment, the Bahraini government is implementing large scale reforms to lure investments and put the economy back on track. Indicative of this, there are a number of infrastructure projects in the pipeline, a drive to boost the tourism and hospitality industry, in addition to the opening up of various business hubs which would attract world-class businesses and multinational companies.

"The outlook looks positive and we are happy to see that a strong insurance sector remains a critical part of this long-term vision for the country. Bahrain boasts one of the highest insurance penetration levels within GCC which goes to show the high awareness level about the value of insurance amongst the Bahraini population. This is sustained by the robust regulations in place led by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and supported by other institutions,” he said.

Pinto said: “The new office move highlights our commitment to further enhance our efforts in delivering the leading range of insurance services in the market. We are very proud of the success of our team and this expanded space will create enhanced efficiencies in internal communication and improve overall processes. Our new location also puts us right in the heart of the city's thriving business area which will enable us to better serve our clients. At RSA, we believe that if it’s good for our customers, it is good for the business.”

RSA Bahrain employs a team of close to 20 insurance professionals dedicated to provide service excellence and timely solutions.

Recently, RSA introduced the e-platform initiative which allows its partners to generate policies within a few minutes. - TradeArabia News Service
