ABU DHABI, August 26, 2017

UAE financial markets will be closed from August 31 to September 3 on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) announced in a circular on Saturday.

Trading will resume on September 4, reported Wam, the Emirates official news agency.

The break is in pursuant of a circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) on the Eid Al Adha holiday.

It is up to the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) to decide when the holiday starts and ends according to requirements of work and public interest, the circular said.
