Foreign investors (non-UAE nationals) had purchased Dh2.470 billion ($672.4 million) worth of shares on Dubai Financial Market (DFM) during the last week, and sold Dh2.084 billion, according to DFM.
The value of shares bought by foreign investors comprised 29.4 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh2.084 billion comprising 24.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The net foreign investment on the market reached Dh386 million during the same period, as aggregate buy, the DFM said.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh1.963 billion comprising 23.4 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh1.498 billion which constitutes 17.9 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
Net institutional investment on the market touched Dh464.3 million during the period as aggregate buy, it said.-TradeArabia News Service
