Al Rajhi Capital launches investment seminar series

Al Rajhi Capital, the investment banking subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Al Rajhi Bank, has launched its investment seminar series.

The series of seminars are part of a number of initiatives being developed by the company to help Tadawul (Saudi Stock Exchange) investors develop a stronger understanding of the capital markets and become active and knowledgeable market participants. This includes both educating and updating investors on the basic macro fundamental notions of the capital market as well as on the technical side of the brokerage market.

Investment seminars are being held across the kingdom at Al Rajhi Capital Investment Centers located in Riyadh, Qassim, Dammam and Jeddah.

“The seminar series include learning about the opportunities and risks inherent in the markets as well as important factors driving market movements and performance that must be considered when making investment decisions,” stated Dr Saleh Al Suhaibani, head of Research at Al Rajhi Capital.

The seminars will cover a number of key basic areas so as to provide investors with important market views of the economy and capital markets. These areas include:

• Economical overview of Saudi Arabia and the market
• Basic investment overview
• Local market performance
• Perspective of technical analysis
• The role of research in investment
• Discussion of the latest released research by Al Rajhi Capital
