Muscat, June 4, 2008
Oman plans to invite two bids for the expansion of Muscat's Seeb International Airport worth 300 million rials ($779.2 million) in the third quarter of this year.
'There will be two projects, one for the civil works such as runway, air bridges, roads and the second for the terminal,' a project official told Reuters.
The contracts are expected to be awarded by the end of 2008, and the new terminal and civil works are scheduled to be completed late in 2010, he said.
