Durrat Marina, a joint venture between Al Khaleej Development Company (Tameer) and Durrat Al Bahrain, has announced the completion of the reclamation work, which had started in last quarter of 2007.

The multi billion dollar diversified world class marina is the first mixed use marina development of its kind in the Middle East, said an Durrat Marina official.

’Durrat Marina continues to make waves in the region as it has already attracted many of the mid and high income citizens from across the region to invest and buy home on the marina of luxury living,’ said Ahmed Al Qattan, chairman of the executive committee, Durrat Marina.

“The reclamation work has been a critical as well as a challenging phase for Durrat Marina. We have now come to the end of a seven-month period of reclamation. Now we can see the final shape of the-state-of-art marina,” he noted.
