Dilmunia project on show at Cityscape

Manama, April 21, 2009

Bahrain-based developer Crown Dilmun Development is previewing its first project in the UAE at the Cityscape expo in Abu Dhabi.

The seven-floor luxurious apartment complex on Al Marjan Island, Ras al Khaimah, is called Dilmunia RAK.

Designed in a wave shape to allow all apartments to have sea views, Dilmunia RAK will be at the heart of Al Marjan Island, the 2.7 million sq/m man-made island that extends 2km off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah.

Dilmunia RAK is the first foray into the UAE real estate market for its developer who has a track record of successful projects in Bahrain including Marina Reef, on Reef Island, and the Landmark Cityview apartments in the heart of Bahrain.

Its parent company, the Ebrahim Abdulaal Group of Companies, has been operating in the region for over 60 years in a variety of commercial sectors, including contracting and real estate development.

'We have enormous belief in Ras Al Khaimah,' said Crown Dilmun Development chairman Ebrahim Ali Abdulaal Alfahad.

'The emirate offers enormous untapped potential and an environment for investing and living, which, with its pristine coastline next to towering mountains, is second to none in this part of the world.'

'While we are living in crucial times there is huge opportunity for developments that are of high quality, very well planned and in fantastic locations,' added chief executive Tony Safarian.

'With Dilmunia RAK we feel we have the right combination and we are enormously excited about previewing this wonderful property at this time.'-TradeArabia News Service
