UAE firms to put up strong show at Big5

UAE-based companies will have a strong representation at the upcoming 'Big 5 Exhibition,' which will feature over 3,000 exhibitors, ranging from major global suppliers to regional agents and distributors, along with 52 national pavilions.
Taking place from November 23 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Big5 will be the biggest yet (boasting of 40,000 sqm space) with 25 percent of exhibitors from the region, showcasing some of the latest and most innovative products, said the organisers.

Mapei (Innovative Building Solutions) is this year’s Gaia Awards Silver Winner will be showcasing its novel product Keraflex at its stand. Al Jazeera Factories, pioneers of the manufacture of AAC Thermalite Blocks and the first manufacturer of Lime products in Abu Dhabi will be announcing details of two new manufacturing facilities in the UAE.
Henkel Polybit Industries, suppliers of structural waterproofing, sealant technologies, interior and Industrial Flooring, Tiling Solutions, External Thermal Insulation Systems and Roofing Systems will unveil their new dust free technology and a Polyureah External Insulation System for walls and roofs.
Pavitec is a distributor of leather tiles, anchor magnetic painting on metals, rubber and metal, offering tiles in any shape, size and mosaic or puzzle which are easily removable, transportable and interchangeable.
They will be showcasing a range of leather tiles and leather mosaics, in addition to mosaics in precious stones such as amethyst, agate, quartz glass tiles at their stand.
Concrete Technology will be exhibiting, amongst other things, the Plastbau System, which is a cast-in-place insulated concrete form (ICF) system for one-way joists concrete floor and roofing.
Plastbau is extremely versatile and saves up to 40 per cent in the overall construction schedule and up to 30 per cent in overall construction costs. In addition, its high insulation factor contributes to high-energy savings.
