BID launches Bawabat Al Sharq apartments

Baniyas Investment and Development Company (BID) has announced the launch of new apartments within its Bawabat Al Sharq project, an ideal mix of modern residential, retail, entertainment and sporting facilities, in Bani Yas City, Abu Dhabi.

The new apartments, which were designed with the city’s rich heritage in mind, carry a traditional appeal while offering residents a home and an environment that cater to their lifestyle and various needs.

These apartments spread across 14 distinctive buildings within six different blocks. Moreover, the buildings are surrounded with spacious and alluring landscaping and water views. They offer exclusivity to their residents with only four apartments designed for a single floor, said a senior official.

The apartments also offer separate storage space on the ground floor for almost each apartment and abundant parking spaces for residents and visitors alike. Residents will be able to enjoy unobstructed views of the water features and beautifully landscaped areas from their balconies.

In addition, the new apartments, which include a mix of deluxe suites, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, as well as exclusive penthouses endowed with terraces and Jacuzzis, are amply spacious and provide a perfectly comfortable living environment for families and singles alike.

Wael Tawil, CEO, Baniyas Investment and Development Company, said, "We conceptualized and designed Bawabat Al Sharq as a one-stop-destination, where residents could take advantage of all the amenities and facilities for their lifestyle needs."

"Within the new Bawabat Al Sharq apartments, we have meticulously designed the internal and external spaces to accommodate residents in every aspect as well as appeal to their lifestyle," he added.

The new Bawabat Al Sharq buildings are part of Phase II of the project, the construction for which is due to commence in early 2010. The entire Phase II of Bawabat Al Sharq, including the new apartments and villas, is scheduled for hand over in the third quarter of 2011.

”Focus on timely delivery of our projects is a crucial component of our business and we are progressing ahead successfully,” Tawil noted.

He said the construction of phase I of Bawabat Al Sharq was already 45 per cent complete and "we aim to deliver by the third quarter of 2010."

Commenting on the payment plan of the new apartments, Wael El Ashry, Commercial vice president of Baniyas Investment and Development Company said,  “Reaffirming our focus on customer satisfaction, we have developed attractive payment plans with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank for our clients, in addition to offering them the option of developer financing directly with Baniyas.”

The Bawabat Al Sharq project comprises premium apartments, villas, a mall, health care facilities and a FIFA standard football stadium with a seating capacity of more than 20,000 spectators.-TradeArabia News Service
