Dubai govt distributes 180 new homes

Dubai government has started the distribution of 180 houses in Al Barsha area as part of its initiative to provide decent living standards and a stable life for every citizen, said a report.

These residences are being distributed under the third phase of the government scheme to distribute a totoaal of 1,240 Barsha houses at a cost of Dh204 million ($55.5 million), reported the Gulf News.

These are being handed over only to beneficiaries of ready houses, 31 of which are grant houses and 149 are loan houses. Another 430 houses were distributed during the first and second phases of the project, it added.
