Jeddah airport work on track

Work on the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah is on track with 65 per cent of the project now completed, a report said.

Initially, the airport will have a capacity to handle more than 30 million passengers annually, the Saudi Gazette report said.

In the second phase, this number will rise to 55 million passengers. Upon completion, the airport will serve about 80 million passengers a year, the report said.
