RCSI Bahrain plans sports facility upgrade

Manama, May 12, 2014

A $700,000 investment in its sports facilities has been announced by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Bahrain.

It includes the construction of a Fifa-approved, all-weather football pitch and an upgrade of an existing sports building at the university's campus, which has a basketball court and gymnasiums, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

"The funding is an investment in the future success of RCSI Bahrain, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in Bahrain later this year," said RCSI Bahrain chief operating officer Stephen Harrison-Mirfield. – TradeArabia News Service
